Every year in August, an air of Mexico blows over Barcelonnette! This is an opportunity to discover the customs, music and gastronomy of Latin America through shows, walks and free workshops. The lively melodies of the mariachis, dancers in flamboyant clothing and the discovery of Aztec culture await you.
Festival of the dead
Barcelonnette is the most Mexican of the French cities... it is thus normal to celebrate the greatest of the traditional festivities of Mexico there. At the end of October, the town is decked out in the colours of Mexico by celebrating the Festival of the Dead through unusual and original activities, directly linked to Mexican tradition.
